Post Your Winter 2008 Schedule:

Aww... you should've taken French with me! :(!

12 units ftw!
Isn't 12 the minimum for full-time? I checked the FAO and HSSEAS full-time requirement and they said 12 but I remember seeing 13 somewhere...
and I really don't want to take a fiat lux since I'll be stuck with the leftovers after freshmen get first picks

13 for ECP. I don't know about HSSEAS kids. . .

12 for HSSEAS, since most classes are 4 units and rarely 5.

namaste, are you serious? Aren't you in J1 as well? The difficult thing with that class is the 95%+ is the A and 90-94.9% is a A-.

well now i might keep the J series but damn it is a lot of work?!

Yeah, I hate having to keep up everyday. But I mean, if J2 is as easy as J1, I would just stay. I think my grade in the class is like a 99% D:.

well mine sure isnt. its easy for all the asian kids who already have their chinese/korean kanji weird writing systems background, but very hard for everyone else. espanol por favor

I don't think koreans have kanji, but I do believe they have an edge because the grammar of korean and japanese is very similar. Chinese have a slight advantage by knowing Kanji, but the teachers are pretty strict. Some Chinese people do not write out the Kanji the same way as Japanese Kanji.

I'm asian but this is the first asian language I am learning. Oh well :(
