International packages get lost in the mail a lot unless you send them priority mail. Some schools don't accept priority or fast mail. Would they make an exception for international students?

Absolutely.
I sent mine by FedEx -or DHL- cant remeber actually my school sent it! and they recieved it and acknowledged it right away.

Depends on the school. You should keep in mind that express mail cannot be delivered to P.O. boxes, so you can't use the normal address. If you intend to use DHL, TNT, FedEx, look for/ask the school for a different address.

My Yale material was sent on their undergard admissions' address.

I sent my Yale forms by snail mail and they never got there. I think I'll use DHL of FedEx even if it costs a LOT.

I use DHL Student Express

Btw, what is the hard copy of material?
