postcard

Sooo cute. I just received a postcard from MHC. Not one of those usual advertisements but a handwritten postcard. It definately made my day.

I got one of those too! It's so very sweet. I think it's wonderful how they conenct to prospective students... so warm and welcoming. Other colleges might be cold and distant, but not Mount Holyoke!

hmm, I meant "connect" - sorry

Maybe they only send it to internationals....? I'm so sorry, footloop!

I am an international too. I didn't get the postcard though . Btw, do you really mean that they have handwritten ? That's strange

After taking a tour and filling out a card and noting a personal interest, they sent a handwritten card with the name of a current MHC student who shared the interest and was happy to be in contact about it. Maybe they send them after a visit on campus or if they have a specific thing say. They also sent one after the interview. So no one is feeling left out for no reason, I don't think they send them randomly after just expressing interest in MH. Of all the schools visited, MH was by far the most personal and professional in terms of follow up.

I never visited campus nor did I have an interview. I just requested some information some time ago and later I got a handwritten postcard.
And it was not only handwritten but also said "How are you" in German. That was the cutest part of all.

coolllll, I wish I could get one of those. Hope its arriving in my mail !!!!!!

I'm a first-year student a Mt. Holyoke College. My friend is an international student and she handwrote about 100 postcards. The postcards are sent to international students. Don't worry if you don't receive one, it's not an admissions-decision.

I feel sorry for the students who have to write these cards.

" I feel sorry for those who have to write these cards"
Me too. I hope I don't have to do that when I am at MHC.
