Postgraduate Study in Human Rights (Or something close to it)

Is any one familiar with Colleges and Universities (both in the U.S. and Abroad) that offer Masters in Human Rights or a concentration in Human Rights as part of a master program (not a law degree program).

Perhaps there are other programs that have similar courses, but are called something else- for example peace and conflict studies etc... Any suggestions will help me so much.

So far I've found:
Columbia University MA Human Rights
London School of Economics and Political Science MSC Human Rights Studies

Arizona State University - MA in Social Justice and Human Rights
University of San Francisco - MA in Human Rights Education

Peace & Conflict Studies

Rutgers - MA in Peace & Conflict Studies
UNC-Greensboro - MA in PCS
UMass-Lowell - MA in PCS
Arcadia University - MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution

American University has a variety of MA programs that may interest you, including Ethics, Peace, and Global Affairs; International Development; and International Peace & Conflict Resolution

You also may be interested in the much more common related field of international development.

American University - MA in International Development
UCLA - MA in International Development STudies
Harvard Kennedy School - MPA in International Development
Georgetown - Master of International Development Policy
Johns Hopkins - International Development
Duke - Master of International Development Policy
Yale - Master in International and Development Economics
Boston U - Global Development
Cornell - MPS in International Development

Many master’s of public administration (MPA) and master’s of international affairs (MIA) programs have a development or human rights focus.

European programs in Human Rights:

University College London - MA in Human Rights
University of Sydney - MA of Human Rights
School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) - MA in Human Rights Law
Sciences Po - MA in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action
University of Sussex - MA in Human Rights
University of York - MA in Applied Human Rights
University of Essex - MA in Human Rights and Cultural Diversity

I will add my two cents, though, that I’m curious as to your reasons for an MA in this field. In my experience, these programs tend to be “cash cow” programs for universities - they rarely provide any kind of financial aid for them aside from loans, and the tuition often generates revenue to support other programs and endeavors for the university. What’s more, they don’t tend to lead directly into jobs in the field.

I might suggest pursuing the MPA programs with concentrations in international development or human rights, because those tend to be more versatile.

My son just started a master’s program in International Humanitarian Action through a consortium of nine European universities called NOHA: Network of Humanitarian Action [NOHA - NOHA Master’s Programme](<a href=“NOHA Network on Humanitarian Action — International Association of Universities — 404”>NOHA Network on Humanitarian Action — International Association of Universities — 404)
The Joint Master’s Programme in International Humanitarian Action is an inter-university multidisciplinary postgraduate programme that provides high quality academic education and professional competencies for personnel working or intending to work in the area of humanitarian action.

The Master’s Programmes was created in 1993 as a result of concerted efforts on the part of the Network on Humanitarian Assistance (NOHA) Universities, working in close collaboration with two Directorates-General of the European Commission: the DG for Humanitarian Action and Civil Protection (ECHO) and the DG for Education and Culture. The initiative was a response to a growing need for higher educational qualifications specifically suited to addressing complex humanitarian emergencies.
