<p>Yes and no. You are certainly allowed to post your essays online for feedback, but I wouldn’t recommend that because they can easily be stolen by others. The best thing to do is to PM them to specific members so they can give you feedback specifically. There’s a list of essay readers in the essays forum called Consolidated List of Essay Readers, or something like that. If you want help from CC, I would PM someone off of there!</p>
<p>Yeah agreed with bamboo. Generally speaking, it is better to be cautious where you message it to, because there was a case of a plagiarized essay a few weeks back where a CC member messaged to it to a new user with one post, who may have used it as his own. Common App uses a Turnitin like system where it detects if any parts of the essay are copied. </p>
<p>That being said, the majority of people on CC are very helpful. I’d be give feedback and whatnot if you PM me. Alternatively, if you don’t want to take the risk of putting it on the internet, you could always ask an adult or a teacher that’d probably be more than happy to help.</p>
