haha yeah in truth i dont think i could have gotten into penn RD since there are so many more factors and its just plain harder. also i was going to app ED elsewhere but i realized that i fit in best at penn. i dont think i could have gotten into dart or columbia nonetheless HYP since i just didnt “fit” there

nobromo, i miss ur old username.

me too 10char

brilliant essays, Nobromo…good job and congratulations for getting into Penn and UC

interesting essays. a great read. thanks!

Every school but PENN i applied to for laughs. jk you never know who is going to accept you and in my case if i knew i was getting into penn i wouldnt have apped to chicago

**** dude, these are really good

i like how this thread has over 1,200 views. lol at u all sending in the same essays
jk yall wouldnt do that.

nobromo,

many thanks !!

You are a profound thinker - it’s visible through your writing. Great job.

TBH, I personally did not like your CommonApp essay (doesn’t matter, you got in anyway :p). I’ve always felt an essay saying “I can’t think of anything” was trite. All of your other essays are absolutely incredible though. I love the professor one too. Your writing really gleams…

Congratulations! Would you mind reading my CommonApp essay? I mean, I’ve already applied and everything… I’m just curious as to what you’d say.

These essays are EXCELLENT, not only are they interesting and actually about you but you actually know how to write, which is refreshing!

They are all different, and set you apart as a person – they don’t look like everyone else’s essay! THIS is what adcoms want to see :)

How is 5/0 2 and not infinity? Please explain this concept that my mind is unable to grasp.

amazing essays, btw :)

I like how you emphasize on individuality and your style in writing essays are similar to my own.

your common app essay is amazing. congrats!

I wish I could write as well as you can. Your essays were simply amazing.
Congrats :]

a=b
a+b=2a
a+b-2b=2a-2b
a-b=2(a-b)
(a-b)/(a-b)=2
1=2

but a-b=0

so 0=2(0) which works.

you can’t do division like that when a=b because anything divided by 0 is undefined.

no but see that is where u are wrong. lol i was just trying to prove in my essays that anyhintg divided by 0 is 2

oh okay. you were hoping no one realizes that it’s not possible because of the restrictions of division (a can not equal b if the denominator is a-b).
