Postmark Deadline? Please help!!

<p>Hey!</p>

<p>I live in Mainland China. For example, an university's deadline is Jan. 1st. (postmark date)</p>

<p>If I send my stuff on the 31st to USA would the university see the postmark date 31st (chinese date) or do they see a new postmark date the application arrived in USA (maybe 1st or 2nd)</p>

<p>I have no better way of wording these. Please help Thanks. (I'll be using Fedex btw)</p>
