Postmarked or received?

I’ve been having troubles with getting my councilor report because of the power outage we’ve been having.

Does Brown want the letters/recs/transcripts received by Jan 1 or postmarked by Jan 1?

Anyone?

..haha...*counselor...Darn you civics essay.

Postmarked

I finally received my PIN to check my application status, so I checked it yesterday and learned that they have received all parts of my application except one teacher recommendation. I met with this teacher to give him the recommendation form in late October, and I spoke with him again in mid-November, and he said he was just about to send it out. So... either it got lost in the mail or he lost the form and never sent it. Either way, I have no way to reach him as I am on winter break, so if he sends a new one after January 1st, will Brown automatically refuse to consider my application just because of one late rec?

You should inform Brown of the situation. They will very likely accept late submissions, just tell them to expect it.

I wouldn't worry about it. One of my teacher recs didn't show up there until 2 weeks after the ED deadline!!! Lol...and I got in. So don't sweat it. If it becomes an issue then you can call. They can't fault you for someone else's mistake.

alright, thanks

I'm having the same problem, sort of. My counselor loves to procrastinate when it comes to school reports and I'm continually bothering her everyday about it.
