Postponed and deferred.....help?

<p>So i have now been postponed to UW-madison along with being deferred to Rose-Hulman. I need to know my chances for VT and Clemson, which are my top two. I'm kinda freaking out and thinking ill get denied to them since ive had bad luck so far with the harder schools.</p>

<p>schools (applying for engineering in each):
University of wisconsin-madison: postponed
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology: deferred
Ohio State: accepted into honors college with 2100/yr
Auburn: accepted 1500/yr
Virginia Tech: still waiting....they sent me an honors college app though...
Clemson: still waiting</p>

<p>So mostly I'm wondering about VT and clemson, but also chances of eventual admit at uw and rhit.</p>

<p>VT - Highly likely you'll be accepted.
Clemson - Highly likely you'll be accepted.
Rose-Hulman - Probably accepted - say 60-40 chance for.
UW Madison - 50/50. I believe they give preference to Wisconsin residents.</p>

<p>idk how you can say that.... i'm oos for vt and clemson it is pretty difficult to get in, especially with the engineering programs. Any one else? btw i'm legacy at VT</p>

<p>I stand by my original assessment:</p>

<p>Clemson average SAT around 1225. Clemson College of Engineering and Science average SAT around 1255. Virginia Tech 25th to 75th percentile SAT 1130 to 1310. You have a 1350 SAT, way above the average for either school, and you've got a good GPA, and you're a legacy at VT. You'll most likely be accepted at both schools.</p>

<p>Also, your SAT scores are near the 75th percentile for both Rose-Hulman and UW-Madison. My guess is you'll be accepted by one of them and waited listed at the other.</p>

<p>Stop worrying. You've applied to good schools and, considering your stats, it's extremely unlikely at least one won't accept you.</p>
