Postponed from UW-Madison

Hello.
I was postponed from UW-Madison in late December. I am a WI resident. I reported a 3.6 GPA when I applied with a 25 ACT and a 10 on the writing portion. I realize the ACT is a little lower than what UW-Madison expects. They asked me to report my first semester grades of senior year and I had a GPA of 3.8. By the time I graduate I will have taken 4 AP classes (AP chem, AP physics, AP psych and AP stats) and 3 Honors classes (3 years of honors English). My extra curriculars are: 2 years of National Honors Society, 3 years of Spanish Honors Society, 3 years on the Math Team, 1 year of soccer, and I had a job my junior year. I also submitted two letters of recommendation. I would like to know how likely my chances are of getting accepted into Madison or how likely a postponed applicant’s chances are of getting accepted.

Thank you for your time.

Your ECs seem a bit low to be honest. UW Madison is competitive especially in the Wisconsin region. They look for a GPA of about 3.7, and your ACT is obviously low for Madison. Just keep working hard in my opinion.

Best of luck.
