Does anyone have their eye on document tracking for financial aid under MyFAO? Has anyone else made their URSA account?

More info on what all of these are… lol

from the last time I checked UCLA login isn’t even up yet

I’m guessing they’re a freshman that was admitted already? URSA is the online account for UCLA that you set up once you’ve been admitted.

I don’t think anyone on this board will know anything about that as we don’t get our decisions until the end of April. This would’ve been better suited for the normal UCLA board here, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/

you can sign up for URSA as a current applicant; people do that all the time, and are currently doing so. I’m avoiding it, however. I’m super paranoid, and I’m worried that it will somehow mess up my being able to see my decision come April (i.e. technical issue regarding registering into the system before I’m even in the system).

also, @above, this doesn’t really need to be moved to that thread unless the poster isn’t actually a transfer. most transfer questions are appropriate here, and these things pop up all the time.

Document tracking is not even up for this year yet. You won’t see anything until the FAO packages financial aid, which isn’t until freshman decisions come out, at the very least. Most UCs do their financial packages for Fall 2012 in late March/early April. Freshman decisions come out March 23rd.

I’m a transfer, just surprised more people haven’t made their accounts yet. I understand the pandemonium this URSA conspiracy creates…but in my experience, it has some validity in getting a heads up on if you might be in (however doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t in if you don’t see any “leaks” ). Some people have seen fin aid packages up to two weeks before decisions are released in prior years, which is believed to be a great sign. Anyway, to each his own. I was just curious if anyone decided to jump on the spaz train to track any changes.
