<p>" So more than likely two F’s can turn into C’s, at best." - That is terrific news.</p>
<p>I had a D who took too many tough IB classes junior year. She got overwhelmed, then gave up and suffered in silence. (It was not til the next year we figured out there were adhd-ish issues). She got an F in IB Chem (missed some labs I think) and some other lousy grades. She has NMSF psat scores and great potential. The teachers and GC made no effort to help overcome the F (zero in GPA calculation) or other bad grades for missing work. She had also been taking another IB science course, so for a brief moment I thought they’d allow a late drop or makeup work.</p>
