<p>Kind of needing some pointers here from those familiar with success stories either they know very well or have experienced themselves in transferring from a CC into a competitive university.</p>
<p>Current College GPA: 3.91
Hours Completed: 27
Major: Economics
Current Organizations: Student Govt Assoc. and Honors College
Schools looking to apply to: Northwestern, Cornell, Brown, Rice, NYU CAS or Stern
SAT Scores: Have not yet taken</p>
<p>High school record: Not even worth mentioning class of 2001</p>
<p>I am an Iraq War Veteran and recieved several medals for meritorious service.
(dont know how much this will help just thought I would throw that in).</p>
<p>I am in my mid 20's decided to go to school and do things right. My main concerns are:
At what point and at how many hours should I begin applying?
What are my chances getting in to the mentioned schools considering my stats?
Any words of advice? encouragement? Please let me know. Any info or feedback from any of you great people would be much appreciated.</p>
