Didn’t get an offer. Not surprised but a bit disappointed. Congrats to everyone who did, especially those of you who would not have been able to afford Vandy without it!
Hallelujah I got it! 36 ACT, 4.00 W, lots of ECs
A new post on the admissions website
Didn’t get it. Not surprised but a little disappointed.

Didn’t get it. Not surprised at all, maybe a little disappointed (it’s hard to be upset when you’re fighting sleep). Congrats to all who got in!
No go here didn’t expect it at all but I really hope I can still get in!!!
2170 sat, 3.96uw, urm
I did not receive Chancellors or CV. 33 ACT, 3.9 UW

Didn’t get it. 35 ACT. I didn’t really expect to get it I was hopeful. If I get in maybe need based aid will come through
Just wondering if anyone knows how many spots are left for RD after ED1, ED2, Mosaic, Ingrams, Chancellors and CV. Should a 2290/3.9 still have hope? Thanks.
Results have been mailed! I’m a CV scholar!
Got CV. 2380 SAT, 4.00 uw GPA, NMF.
For those of you that got the CV Scholarship, do you see any changes on your MyAppVU online?
Didn’t get it. 2400 SAT, first in class, state band 4 years, research, community service trips abroad…not gonna lie, cried a lot.
Son got it. 36 ACT, 4.0 uw, NMF.
@17abcd
I just checked the MyAppVu portal and as far as I could see, nothing changed on any of the tabs.
@tobere Thank you for sharing. That helps others put it in perspective. @blindoreo congrats My S did NOT - 2300 SAT, 35 ACT, 3.98 UW/4.5 W, AP 5s on 6 APs, 2 sport, varsity 4 yrs. and current captain, heavily involved in performing arts with tours and awards, several significant volunteer awards, started and runs a community outreach for inner city kids, math winner at state level, overcame significant health issue soph year while maintaining all As… White Male.
my gut is NMF is significant for Vandy in the admissions process – they publish the # of NMF in each entering class, and add significant scholarship $ for those who select Vandy as their first choice. I do not KNOW this – just a hunch
MomTwo2, I can’t say what current emphasis is placed on NMF, but for S’s class ('06), we always heard it was significant. He had 11 NMFs on his freshman dorm floor and 2 or 3 had perfect SATS. That’s impressive considering the admissions rate at that time was somewhere in the mid-40% to 50% range depending on the college.
Got it. 35, 3.93UW. EC’s and essays are what did it. Anchor down!
