Potential Financial Aid

Ok, I have been looking around for some information regarding potential financial aid for in state prospective freshmen. I have not found anything solid, so I would greatly appreciate any help. I absolutely love UT and have always planned to go there for my undergrad years but considering my family won't be able to pay for any of the costs I have begun to look/apply to private schools with really good financial aid packages...

Quick info:
2009 income level: $40,000
Currently my step-father (whom I live with) is unemployed and thus the 2010 income level will be drastically lower. My real father lives in Austin but is now disabled and thus makes absolutely no salary (plus I receive no monthly aid from him anymore)... Family of four, I have a brother attending community college on grants. And if it matters, I'm first generation Latino...

Thank for your help...

You’ll probably be covered for tuition, but probably not housing unless you can find plenty of other outside scholarships.

what are your stats? Texas ex offer a great deal of scholorship that are need based, but your stats are going to have to be good. Maybe we can point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the responses…
