Hi,
I'm a male set on going into nursing. My family has absolutely no ability to contribute funds towards my education, so I'm on my own with paying for school. I know that school supposedly matters very little to nursing employers (Hospitals only care about a license), but it's really important personally for me to get into a good school. That being said, I have my heart set on Upenn, mainly because I know that I will receive a free education due to their aid policy. However, I'm open to other schools that will be financially feasible (i.e., less than 10k in debt by graduation) such as UNC Chapel Hill.
Therefore, I'm really trying to target what I need to work on to be more desirable. What are my chances at Upenn or a comparable program (such as UNC)? Also, I am a rising Junior, so there is time for improvement.

Also gay, if that counts towards UPenn's supposed gay outreach.

Am I feasible? I am completely open to suggested schools, provided they will give me the aid I need. I qualify for full.
