<p>How strong is Wesleyan's Philosophy department? I often hear and read about that of Amherst college, however, not at other LACs such as Wesleyan.</p>
<p>We have heard from philosophy professors at major universities all over the country that Wesleyan's philosophy program is first-rate. Our son is going to be a philosophy major there starting this year.</p>
