<p>Hi! I’m a freshmen at a liberal arts college in New England, and although I am having a wonderful time here, I am not finding the school to be as intellectual or academic as I was looking for. I am considering applying to transfer. If anyone can answer some questions I have, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!</p>
<li><p>What is it like for transfer students? Does anyone know if transfer are in a different dorm, if there are programs for transfers, or if is difficult to make friends as a transfer? Are students accepting of new people, or is everyone already going to have their own groups of friends?</p></li>
<li><p>Although I know that Chicago will probably have a tamer social scene then my current college, I was wondering if the social events the school puts on are well attended, and if there are parties regularly?</p></li>
<li><p>What are the sororities like?</p></li>
<li><p>Do students discuss the material after class, are people incredibly interested in what they are learning?</p></li>

<p>I promise that I’m not just interested in the social scene, I want to transfer because I want a lot more then that. However, one my good family friends is a professor at UChi, so I feel I know a lot about the academics and the college itself.</p>
