Hi guys, I have a question.
This might be late but during the previous month I was in debate with the professor that gave me a C grade, therefore I was reluctant to notify Berkeley as of yet because of a potential grade change.
So my school runs on a quarter based system. When it stated in the conditions of admission for Berkeley on getting a term GPA of 3.0; does it mean getting a 3.0 on both Winter and Spring quarters, or a combined GPA of Winter and Spring. Unfortunately, I was involved in two car crashes during Winter, and received a 2.67 GPA (B+B+C) due to unable to attend school nor completing assignments (Bone bruises on both hands, medical papers can be provided). I’ve recently notified Berkeley of the situation and will hear back hopefully by tomorrow or Tuesday.
Were there previous cases that are similar to this, or am I completely screwed?
PS: My cumulative GPA from previous quarters is 3.85, I will be getting a 3.9-4.0 this quarter as well. My combined GPA for just Spring and Winter will be 3.3x-3.4, well above the requirement.
