Hello everyone. So I’m Physics major at Boston University and I want to transfer next year to a better Physics program and a school where graders aren’t as tough as in BU (link at the bottom). My GPA is 3.93 My major GPA is 4.0 and I’m planning to get a research assistant opportunity this summer. I can talk about many other extra curriculars but I want to know first about universities I can transfer to. I was thinking about UC Berkeley and Stanford, but they are probably not in my reach. Thank you.
Seems like you are doing fine with the supposedly hard grading if you are getting a 3.93 overall GPA with 4.0 in your major.
What year are you in?
How do you know BU is not good in physics?
Why did you pick it in the first place?
What aspect of physics do you want to study?
Are you getting any merit scholarships at BU? Generally transfers do not get merit scholarships.
Of “good” physics schools…do they take transfers?
