<p>I haven't heard of people being rejected from USC yet, but I have already heard of people who applied to specific schools within USC get rejected from their major. Candy45, are you sure that your friend's friend was completely shut out of USC or just a specific major? :/</p>
<p>Maybe the students we are "hearing" about (no one that I know of has posted saying they THEMSELVES were rejected) assume that since USC sent acceptances in Jan/Feb and they did not get one, they must have been rejected. If they are not familiar with USCs admissions style, they may not know that students are still being accepted every day. Ask the *friend of the friend *to read from the rejection letter...</p>

<p>candy45- do you know how that is done? Did he receive a letter? If so, what did it say? Can you find out how he knows that?</p>
<p>what i understood was that he got into USC (in general)..but got only into his 2nd choice. i will try and ask tomorrow for details.</p>
