Potentially Awkard Interview Scenario

So I have my interview on Saturday....at a restaurant! Its kind of a diner, right on the main street of the town I live on. So you all thought that getting coffee was bad? How bout not knowing what the hell to do about the check! And what do I order? What if I have maple syrup all over me. Do I order orange juice? Oh jesus. Oh jesus. Guys, I'm hyperventilating.

Just take your typical high road, lean back, give her The Look, fold your arms across your chest, and glance at the check. That's what I did, and she ended up buying...

Okay, not really, but she did buy both of our waters even when I offered to pay. They're nice like that. Don't sweat it, not that you are, because I know you're not.

Hmm...but I would feel awful if he payed...especially because I probably made more off of my trust fund last year than he did from his medical practice. :(

No but seriously, im paranoid!

lol, I think they expect to pay (being the adult and all) but you can always offer. Don't get stuff with maple syrup, and don't get stuff that requires you to use your bare hands. What's wrong with orange juice?

Orange juice - the acid could burn a hole through my esophagus and cause me to lose my voice, just killing the interview all together.

lol...darn, so I guess coffee is out too then?

Don't eat BBQ either unless you want a sticky mess. Oh and don't eat saltines; they'll dry up your mouth and render you speechless. Don't drink water because you might choke. Don't touch any sharp silverware, for you might accidentally stab your interviewer. Just don't move!

lol bahhaha
yea don't talk either you might say something--
:D

In fact don't even look at them, they might see your face

Why not just fail to show up in the first place?

here's an idea: how about you tell him that schpiel about your trust fund? then, maybe he'll write you a good recommendation as a potential development case.

mwahahah good ideas guys!

You're welcome.

haha i think the interviewer usually pays for the meal just to let u know but u can offer as a nice little suggestion but they will pay.
