Planning to apply to colleges this coming November.
Have 3.94 unweighted GPA
4 AP’s
Took maximum amount of honors/ APs my high school offered
Received 2050 on SAT
Received 33 on ACT (36 on math and science, but 30 on english and reading. not sure if this significantly affects admissions. Retaking can definitely get a 34, maybe 35. Worth it for one point?)
Received 800 on Math2 SATII and 750 on Biology
Some extracurriculars include:
Eagle Scout (100-200 community service hours)
2 years on basketball varsity team
4 years in a casual community choir
Student counsel for two years including Prom Committee
Grade 8 ABRSM Piano
An Ethinicity Club Leader for 3 years
Worked at a Fine-Arts Museum for 6 months giving tours
I am in training to become a Lieutenant in a foreign military service.
Just wondering the chances for certain schools, mostly west side:
UC Berkeley
UCLA
USC
Harvey Mudd
Claremont McKenna
UCSD
Carnegie Mellon
University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign
Stanford
Caltech
Thanks for reading and commenting. I will probably major in some sort of Engineering or Sciences, but will apply undeclared; not really sure if this makes a difference also. Mostly curious of my chances since I am applying to colleges after being out of high school for a while!
