Hello, I was about to purchase a few things on the Powerscore website, including the "Logic Games Ultimate Setups Guide," but I noticed that the dates it covers are from 1995 to 2002. I assume that this is still relevant since they're selling it, but I wanted reassurance from you guys. You guys know lots about Powerscore, are these dates OK and up to date? Has anyone used the Setups Guide? Thanks!!!

It's held as conventional wisdom that the logic games from the period covered (1995 to 2002) generally represent the peak of LG in terms of difficulty and complexity. You'll notice that during this period, LG sections usually had 23-24 questions (these days, it's usually only 22), and the games back then were noticeably tougher. I used the setup guide myself and found it fairly useful for any games I really couldn't crack on my own.

Fine choice. No worries with the dates.

Thanks for the help!

Best of luck and when are you testing?

Thanks! I'm actually testing in June. I wanted to get the books early just so I can have them, and I'm planning on starting to study in the beginning of the winter semester (I don't have that natural testing ability) so hopefully all goes well! Are you testing this year? If so, good luck to you too!

Hazmat, I just clicked on your "name" and, I'm sorry, I had no idea you were so "experienced" on this forum! I'm guessing that you're already in law school...

One of the best books I have ever bought. Definitely buy it for your study. The games they selected are brutal sometimes.
