Middiesmom: this comes a bit late.....sorry your time with Bobby was cut so short- but no doubt you made every minute of it count! And there is not a doubt in my mind that your cooking was well appreciated by one very hungry plebe! Just think- football will be starting in just 2 very, very short weeks- and what better excuse to squeeze in another visit to annapolis! Then again, you will be able to watch him play on the big screen...so get your DVD player warmed up, tape the games, and hit "replay" over and over!!!

One thought- they sell those computer cams in the Midstore- saw 2 of them, one for $39 and one for around $100....and from what I have heard, many of the companies allow them, even in the plebe rooms! Just a thought.....

Know you are as anxious to see Bobby in his working blues as much as I am dying to see the Thorpedo in his!!!! Hang in there! Know it must have been very, very hard to get aboard that plane....and don't worry about not seeing his room....we get another chance, God willing, during firstie year!!! ;)

My ex and i handled it just fine- or at least I thought so from my point of view. I have family in the area who are also my son't official sponsors- so I stayed there with my son, and his girlfriend. My ex came over for dinner both nights and then breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We both stood at football practice- I had to remind him before hand that the weekend was not about us- but about Bobby. What he wanted to do, where he wanted to go, etc- Also my daughter and his girlfriend helped buffer things along. It wasn't that bad. We will be doing this a lot as we both play to go up to see my son play football -In fact, i am so excited made my travel arrangements for Sept 9- can't wait to see the game and to spend time with my son:)

Just catching up again, and saw all these wonderful posts. I'm going right home and getting out the whip to gode Navy_Hornet towards getting that appointment. She's got to do it for dear old Dad, if nothing else so I can meet Zaphod next year.

Just kidding, she doesn't need any pushing from me. Thanks for all the great posts, I'll never make it an entire year.
