For anyone with experience using the PR's 11 New Practice Tests... is this very comprable to a real SAT... or is it typically easier or harder?
Thanks!

I haven't taken any of the new 11 tests, but i did take one of PR's PSAT tests for this year's PSAT, and it seemed, barring the mistakes in the PR book, extremely similar. I guess i'll actually see how similar it was when i get the results.

well no one has taken the new sat yet. but the the book is very similar to the new psat as far as i can tell.

My son did pretty well on PR's PSAT diagnostic, and then on CB's practice PSAT (the one they give you before you take the test) - and felt he'd done pretty well on the actual October 16 PSAT. He just took the math portion of the first SAT practice test in the PR 11 New Practice Test book however, and did 40-70 points less... he said it was much harder than the PSAT (practices & actual).

PR is very reliable.

I've used PR's NEW SAT to boost my RC on the "old SAT."
That and memorizing vocab helped me greatly-- from 650 to 750.

I just received my book from Overstock.com yesterday...

Yeah, it's a fat one! The tests are great IMHO.

I don't like them, I mean the tests themselves are fine, but they give the worst explanations ever
