PR ACT tutoring

I received a 33 (36M 32R 32E 33S) on my first time taking the ACT last april with no prep. I really want to get it up 1 or 2 points for some of the liberal arts colleges that I am applying to. My parent are really pushing me to get tutoring for the princeton review even thought it is expensive. Do you think it is worth it if the money isn't a huge problem? What other advice do you have?

I'm not sure you need a prep course.... A few books should suffice. I paid $400 dollars for a tutor and he actually told me to learn the science basics like photosynthesis and etc. =.=""""

Just practice a little bit. The timing on the reading and science sections is sort of difficult. I believe that the material is so easy that a tutor could not really give you help doing it. And the review books will give you all the tips and advice you need.

Which ACT books do you suggest?

Princeton Review for Science, and sparknotes for reading.
