I have the BB book. I havent exhausted the book yet but when i DO i hope it will be when i've already taken my SATs.

There are various opinions regarding these three books : PR, BARRONS, and KAPLAN. I'm just at a lost, not knowing what to buy. I not to concern about the tips in the books but more about the PRACTICE TESTS.
Which one of the 3 books' practice tests is the most similar to the REAL SATs?

Also, i'm scoring in the 1800s (lowest in CR-500s...reallyy trying to bring it up..any tips for the passages? :) ).

…bump…anymore opinions?
I want to work on my CR sections but i need more passages to read and practice on
How did you bring up your CR scores as in how did you study, what did you use?

I agree with the other poster. To bring up your score, memorize vocabulary and take official CB practice tests. Get the online course with the 10 additional tests.

My personal preference is PR. It just seems like their tests for everything else is the most accurate, so I prefer PR’s prep books. Their explanations are also very detailed.

I’m using Barron’s PSAT prep book right now, but I don’t think it’s as accurate as PR’s. Sometimes the questions are really easy, and sometimes they’re really hard.

I haven’t used Kaplan, so I’m not really sure how accurate it is.

I think, in general, as long as you do lots of practice, what prep book you use doesn’t really matter. It should help you no matter what.
