Practice Efficacy

Just a question to all those that have been prepping extensively for the SAT

I have been practicing for the various sections and have had great results. Is there a way I can make my practice more fruitful? Do you guys do anything like keep a notebook of mistakes, or anything?

Please list exactly what you do for each section

(btw, I know you have to check why you got a problem wrong)

here's what i do with the practice test :
writing : i just review the questions i got wrong. i try to figure out why i got them wrong. i usually miss 4-5 mc questions in writing ( i do careless mistakes; when i look at the question after the test i get it right )
cr (my weakest point at sat) : i review all questions, i write down the new words i face on the sentence completion section. for the reading i try to put myself in " the author " 's shoes and to think the way ETS wants us to think. I hope my cr score will improve this way
math : i do nothing for math, but i have strong bases in algebra and number theory so i ace the math section
in total from my practice tests i can score at around 2100 which is below my expectations.
