I'm taking the Feb 7 ACT and I've taken two practice tests. The first time I took the ACT practice provided by the publisher for everyone. I got: 27 Math, 28 English, 30 Reading, 30 Science. I was a little disappointed by the two non-30's, so I took a Princeton Review pratice test in those areas and increased my scores to 29s' in Math and English. How do practice scores usually correlate with real scores? Keep in mind that when practicing, I took half of the time and did not check my answers.

I took the ACT Online Prep program and got a 29 on my practice test and a month later I got a 28 on my Real ACT. I don't want to propose any type of correlation though since tests always vary, company by company, ACT by ACT.

yeah i mean you will see new questions on every test you take, so a lot of times it just comes down to luck and what kinds of things you're strong at. but i would expect your practice score should be within 1-2 points plus or minus your real score.

Just took more Princeton tests, I scored 34M 30E. Anymore thoughts?

I heard Princeton Review offer one free practice test ( or at least thats what it said on my account), but when I try to open the test there is some error or something. Would you know what I'm talking about?

Son's practice test scores from the Real ACT (red book) were very consistent with his actual composite score. Practices ranged from 31-33 and he got a 33 composite the first time he took it.

I have not used, the online versions, only those in the actual book. To mom2010grad, that's encouraging and congrats.
