Hey guys, I'm new to this board and am looking for recommendations on good SAT Practice Test books. I had The Official College Board practice test book and am almost done with it - I have one test left in it. I need to practice more before the October exam. Also, when you people practice do you do a whole test in one sitting or just a section timed? Thanks, I appreciate it.

I read it was a good idea to start with untimed tests so you could work through the problems without the stress of watching the clock, and then as you get more comfortable, start timing yourself. But I think you should take complete practice tests once you get really into it so you can build up the mental and physical stamina. This is a looooooong test and the breaks on test day are a lot stricter than the ones you give yourself!

Other than the official tests, the only prep books I have picked up so far are the two PR books (one of them has 11 practice tests) and would definitely recommend them, but I can't speak to others.

kaplan 12 practice tests. it was released during june. the reviews on amazon were pretty good, but i'm still skeptic.
