How much higher (or lower) do you score on the actual SAT in comparison to your practice tests on average? I am currently scoring around 2100 on practice tests (college board, princeton review, barrons); what would be my score with the curve on the real SAT. I am aiming for 2250+.

Unrealistic. My actually test score was a good 60 points lower than my practice test averages.

The January Curves were very harsh though.

I wonder why that would be–nerves? test conditions?
Do most people have this experience?

practice tests I could range from 2250-2400; scoring multiple 2400s

but my test came back only a 2300

I think this is because i did all the practice tests during summer, and I was very ready at that time, but than i just let that knowledge sit with me until the november test
