I haven't seen anything comparing the two. If you used any test prep booklets before you took the real test, please respond with the name of the book, your average score on the tests, and your real SAT scores.

I used Barrons and my math scores were really close to actual. I ranged from 690 to 750 over 6ish times and got 730 on the actual. My reading/writing scores were all over the place so I don't know about those.

I averaged around 2100-2200 on the Blue Book tests and I thought the June 2 SAT was a bit easier than those in the book.

Well, doing the Blue Book ensures your familiarity of the test, not always a clear correlation between practice exams and the real thing. Some tests are brutally more difficult than others. Anyone I know that felt overly confident, well lets just say, are paying CB for another go.

if you sign up for an SAT, but don't show up to take it, will your score report show the same as if you had canceled your scores? june 2 was my second time taking the test, i would hate for it to look like i took it 3 times considering i may take it again.

i did some practice tests for the march sat, averaging about a 2350. on the real thing, i got a 2290. i did some more practices for the june sat and averaged around a 2350 again... i thought this sat was easier than march (though i bombed the essay), so hopefully i'll get closer to that 2350 this time...

aldeswari,

It doesn't show up on the score report.

oh my god dude, I took the march SAT too and I fell hard on arse, I made a 1470 and I nearly cried.

Yeah the march SAT beat me up, 700 in math, 530 reading (forgot glasses, and did not understand the passage of religion or something), 520 writing ( I dont know what happened, I average out at 650 in practice, must have messed up when bubbling.)

The march test ambryllien was referring to is the test from 2 years ago.
