Practice Tests

To all you ACT dominators out there:

I was wondering: What book has the best alternative practice tests, specifically for the math and science sections? I'm talking about books such as Barron's 6 tests, Kaplan, Princeton review etc. Which should I use to improve my score fastest?

I don't want to waste the Real ACT practice tests, but still need to practice for math and science. Anyone advice from someone who has experience or success with alternative practice tests is greatly appreciated.

P.S. - I'm currently scoring around a 31/32 in math and a 28ish on science based on the 3 real ACT tests I've taken. This is my first post post but I've browsed this site for awhile and I know there's tons of super smart/busy people here so any advice/help would be super awesome, thanks! :)

I think that for math most people find the PR books the best (don’t quote me on this). For science I have no freaking idea, but am also interested in what people used to bring their science section up.

I’ll give the PR books a look, thanks! The 1296 book right?
Bumping for more suggestions <3

Bump for more answers plz!

try the sparknotes book

Do you mean the math content review online or are there actual practice tests made by sparknotes somewhere? I wasn’t aware that sparknotes even had a book, thanks.

Also can anyone tell me out of the 3 books which has the most accurate math sections? (Barrons 6 ACT tests, 1296 PR book, and Kaplan’s 6 tests)

bumping with the hope that someone will answer

MY son used the PR 1296 book, finished that and got another PR book I think. He took a section test each day after school for about 2 weeks. 35 Math and 33 Science.

I think the key is just doing the daily practice. I think it took around and hour to test and review.
