Has anyone heard back from Pratt regarding early action undergraduate decisions for class of 2019?

Yup I think that they’re out because my friend got in

I heard back from Pratt on December 23

YAYAAA I GOT IN!!

Btw, I got my acceptance through email. Did any of you get your letter yet?? And also they did not mention my “scholarship award” in the email, doyou think it will be there in the actual acceptance package??

And also, is it possible to opt for sigle dorm room for freshmen year?

@RtotheB, I got my acceptance package today and there’s a separate letter for scholarship

@sameerak Thanksss sooo much!! I was freaking out!!! Do you live in the US or abroad? Because I live in the middle east and I bet its going to take forever to get here

@RtotheB, I live in India It’ll reach you in no time, Im sure! Which major did you apply for?

OMG THIS IS WAYY COOL!! @sameerak

Huh - I’ve been on CC for about a week now reading commentary about Pratt and somehow missed this thread! Not sure how that happened. D received her acceptance and notice of merit scholarship by snail mail a few days before Christmas (ComD - Graphic Design). Received an e-mail the same day. Very excited as she visited the Institute last spring and really liked it there. However, she won’t be making any final decisions for a while yet (will need to hear back from two other schools). She’s not an international student so maybe I’m posting on the wrong thread?

Congratulations to those accepted and good luck to everyone still applying!

hi guys!! Im an international student and i still haven’t heard back from pratt and im getting kinda nervous about that they’re website says they will answer by jan 6, but some ppl already got in! should i be worried? Also, is it via email or actual mail? thanks!
HUGEE congrats to you guys who already got it
Heyy I got into pratt but I still haven’t received my acceptance package?? I aman international student. Should I be worried?
OMG. I just realized that I got admitted to Pratt MVP and that campus does not even have architecture!! I know for a fact that I had applied for architecture to the brooklyn campus. I have emailed admissions telling them about this mix up. OMG I AM FREAKKING OUT
@RtotheB does your acceptance e-mail mention any major at all? I know that my D’s did not, although her acceptance packet specifically states that she was admitted to the communication design major. Your acceptance packet should clear things up once you receive it. But yes, it definitely makes sense to e-mail admissions in the meantime so that you can get some clarification as to what program of study you have actually been admitted to.
It says that I have been admitted by Pratt MVP for the school of art and design. I looked up the academics studied at that campus and architecture is not an option. Im really worried I e-mailed admissions about this problem and they haven’t got back to me yet. However when I go on my apply web account there is no indication that I’ve applied to pratt mvp, so I know I haven’t made a mistake while applying. Did your D get an acceptance from pratt mvp or just pratt?
D was admitted just to Pratt and the address on the letterhead is the main campus. No mention of MWP. She did not opt for admission to MWP but I know that in the past students waitlisted at Pratt have been offered admission to the satellite campus with a guarantee of transferring to Brooklyn in their junior year. Did the e-mail come from Pratt Admissions or Pratt MWP Admissions? And had you specified a second choice major on the application in case you didn’t receive your first choice? It’s possible that you’ve been admitted to that major up in Utica. Or, as you are thinking, it could be a mistake. That’s a very important question you have so they should be able to get back to you quickly (it’s Saturday late morning here in the US so you might have to wait till Monday to get an answer). Be sure to follow up with your admissions counselor as well, and make sure to include your full name and address and that you are an international student so that they can pull up your file quickly.
@Mamelot The email came from pratt mvp admissions and I did not opt for a second major. Thanks so much! I’m hoping for good news on monday!
