I got an acceptance email from Pratt for Fall 2015 5 hours ago and I was wondering if other people got their acceptances as well. I know two of my friends got theirs too but a couple of my friends havent heard back yet. Do you know if Pratt emails everyone’s acceptances at the same time?
My D was accepted early action but hasn’t received the financial aid award letter yet. If anyone gets an acceptance packet can you please post as to whether the financial aid decision was included? Thanks!
My D applied regular decision and was accepted… She has not received her packet yet. I spoke with her financial aid counselor today and she said they were mailed out Monday so hopefully we will see them showing up this week.
Thanks @Swje93. We haven’t received it yet but are really hoping it arrives before mid-April. D (and we!) would like to get this decision-thing wrapped up very soon.
We’ll be at Accepted Students Weekend. Here’s hoping for good weather!
So my D received her packet today, she received $19000 for the presidential scholarship, but the bad part is her financial aid letter is not her’s. It has someone else’s name on it, who lives in California. So we are unsure if she got additional financial aid. I guess I will be calling Pratt tomorrow to get it sorted out.
Uh oh, @Swje93 I hope they are able to get that resolved very soon for your sake. You should get them to fax or e-mail the correct letter to you ASAP. Does the scholarship letter at least have your D’s name on it so you know that part is for real?
Also, what region do you live in? We didn’t receive anything today and are in Minnesota so hopefully by tomorrow . . .
@Mamelot yes the schloarship letter has my daughters name on it, but the financial aid letter has another girls name on it.
We live in Utah, where do you live in MN? We used to live in St. Cloud.
I will be contacting Pratt financial aid tomorrow and ask that they email me the right financial aid letter.
We really wanted to visit this weekend, but we just didn’t have enough time to plan since my daughter was just accepted regular decision and not knowing all the financial aid she might receive, we aren’t sure if she can afford to attend.
