<p>Right now, I'm trying to choose between Pratt and Parsons for fashion design.</p>
<p>They both seem to have very different campuses, and approaches regarding educational methods. </p>
<p>I would greatly appreciate some opinions regarding the two schools!</p>
<p>If you’re serious about “design”, and want to be “trained” to do the job, Parsons is the school to choose.
If you’re interested in being more “artistic”, Pratt is your choice.
Now if one is offering a larger financial aid package, then go for the school that is the cheapest after all grants and scholarships. Fashion Design does not pay well for new people trying to enter the industry, and the last thing you want when entering the industry is a big loan that you can’t pay because your NYC rent is too high.</p>
