Pratt question: Organic Chem

Let me see if I have this right. I have AP Chem credit, which is the equivalent of Chem 21. Can I satisfy Pratt's natural science requirement by taking Orgo directly (and not taking Chem 23 or Chem 22)?

here's the response you're gonna get: yes, you can but why would you want to?

unless, you're considering pre-med I wouldn't do it. if you are, you'll have a nicer curve than for a sophomore class of orgo chem but I think some of the people in the class will have taken orgo before

trancestorm - as raggu mentioned, you certainly can jump straight to orgo. Deciding to do so does depend on what major your planning on and whether you are going pre-med. For example, ECE students must take a biology course as their fourth NS (after Chem and 2xPhy).
