@mardiizone i got waitlisted a week ago and i was supposed to get a letter and still haven’t received it, they are very unorganized and i may not even consider waiting for a decison at this point

My daughter was accepted 2 weeks ago and received a scholarship, but still no word as to financial aid. Has anyone else received a financial aid award and how long after the acceptance letter did it arrive? Thanks!

Still waiting. Called, and they said they sent the email, but we didn’t. Said she’d look into it and email us back…nothing. And nothing in the mail.
@Fashionmama I got accepted by email 2 days before I received an email about my scholarship. Got my financial aid award letter in the mail about a week after that 
Any animation applicants out there who’ve received determination letters? I’m a transfer student who applied last year and was waitlisted (I received that email Thurs. 3/29). I completed my application in Jan. for Fall 2019 and submitted my portfolio on the initial deadline (2/1 - I wasn’t aware of any application extensions until today).
I called the school today and all I was told was that the new deadline for Fall 2019 was April 3rd. No answer on when I should expect my determination. I double-checked the Slideroom website to confirm the new deadline and it’s true, but the main thing is I feel that since I was a relatively “earlier” applicant I would’ve have heard something by now.
One thing that also worried me (before I heard of the extensions, I guess) was that in reviewing my application checklist, I see that the Date Completed is noted as March 14, 2019. That just shook me because I thought maybe none of my information was processed until that date and that the reason I hadn’t heard a determination was because my application was considered late. Is anyone aware of what this particular note in the checklist means? Thanks in advance.

Have any of the waitlisted applicant’s been thinking about the Manhattan AAS program? I applied to MWP and got accepted, but I’m hesitant to choose that because it’s in Utica and there’s really nothing around the campus… So I was thinking maybe going through the Manhattan way and getting my BFA through that. If anyone’s got any insight on it, I’d really appreciate it lmao
That’s encouraging. We are also waiting to hear about Financial Aid. Maybe the letter is in the mail!
@awaitingoffers I would suggest you contact the Financial Aid office to confirm they have your info. We did and learned that Admissions had the incorrect SSN for my daughter (off by one digit) so Financial Aid never was notified and thus didn’t pull her FAFSA which we had filed last fall. Good luck!
Received my Pratt Brooklyn financial aid package today and was a little upset. 
It’s over 40k after aid!! They didn’t really offer much grant either even though my EFC is 3000. Oh well, I guess I’ll go with Pratt MWP it is one of my affordable options right now and I submitted my documents so Pratt MWP can appeal my aid and hopefully give me more grants. XD
@YaBoiTiss D is put into waitlist,a little disappointed, so would not consider AAS program, nor Utica MWP, since she also has other options in Parsons, SAIC,CCA, MassART etc.
@Chuckymilokilo i received my scholarship as well and pratt is still expensive as hell. $75k a year? holy crap! i remember checking two years ago when i was a senior, it was $65k! i’m really disappointed that art schools are sooo expensive, and some don’t even offer a good scholarship to even make it feasible. :’(
