Hi! I got accepted to all of these schools for fall 2012 and I'm trying to make up my mind on where to go. I'm planning on pursuing computer animation (3D mostly). I want to end up working for feature films/ doing special effects for films. Maybe even TV shows. Which school would be the best fit for helping me achieve this? I visited all of them and was impressed by all of what I saw. I am also interested in doing internships when I'm in school/ during the summer.
Thanks!

I know nothing about OTIS, Look up 3D magazine rankings and recent graduates in field through professional boards. Find folks whose work you like, and see where they went. Good luck, I think Pratt and RISD may be a little more 2D than some folks like initially, but i don know you can do more of the 3D later.

I’m currently an Otis student, I know some graduates are currently working in the film industry. Among the famous movies with Otis Alumni we have Avatar, Alice in Wonderland and Kung Fu Panda just to mention a few. The Digital Media Programs teaches you how to do 3d modeling for character and environment, and animation too. For Special Effects they teach motion graphics, If you are able to visit they offer tours from Monday to Friday at 2:00 PM and you don’t need an appointment if you are interested in checking it out before choosing.
