Please pray for my family and I today. Growing up, both of my grandmothers had died before I was able to know them so my great aunt basically became my grandmother. She had no children so our family basically became the ones who supported her and did things with her and what not. Anyways, she passed away in her sleep last night at the age of 92 (the fact that it was in her sleep I am very thankful for as she had horrible choking problems). Please pray for my family and myself today and also a prayer of thanksgiving that she entered eternal life peacefully.

Dang, I knew I couldn't get through this without tearing up. Anyways, if you would be willing to send a quick prayer, I would appreciate it and it would help me get through today. Thanks guys.

I'd be honored to remember you and your family in my prayers. I'm so glad your great aunt lived for 92 years--that's wonderful. I know many people will see your request and will be praying for you and I hope that is of some comfort to you today.

You will be in the prayers of so many of us. I was brought to tears as well while reading your post. However, I am glad that you are able to appreciate the good things - that she passed in her sleep and that she's peaceful now. She was blessed to be able to live her life with such a beautiful gift of love from your family. I hope it brings you peace knowing that your love and support made her happy.

If it helps, just picture Our Lord, arms open wide, waiting to embrace your loved one. Think of how happy he will be, and how filled with joy she will be!

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I also had a great aunt who had a profound impact on my life and faith, she was a wonderful lady. Remember that you will carry her in your heart always.

Hey, it's all for the better. Your aunt went peacefully, and she's now in a better place with no suffering. I know it's hard to accept her loss, but over time, you and your family will come to peace with it. I will keep your family in my prayers and thoughts. My condolences.
