What are your opinions on this, placing heavy emphasis on job placement in finance and consulting.

*ps. I am an international student, please consider this.

UMichigan Ross is definitely top notch in its undergraduate business program however how well is it received internationally compared to Cornell, an ivy league?

Also, I am guaranteed admission to UMichigan Ross business, but in Cornell I would be in the college of arts and sciences taking up econ. Would Cornell's "ivy league" label make up for a non-AEM major who is planning to pursue finance, especially when compared to UMichigan Ross?

In short, which school would be more advantageous, especially in terms of job placement and recruiting?

just to note, I am an international high school student who had just recently received a letter of admission to the Preferred Admissions program (Ross) of UMichigan.

Although I won’t know my results to Cornell until April, I am just contemplating on different possibilities and choices.

[Best Undergraduate Business Programs - Best Colleges - Education - US News and World Report](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/spec-business)

While rankings certainly are not everything, Ross certainly seems the better choice (at least to me)

I heard U Mich BBA(Ross) is almost just as competitive as Cornell AEM.

both good choices, cant go wrong.

I want to give you my personal experience though. I was a pre-admit, and decided that undergrad business is not for me. Stayed in engineering, which turns out ok. However, if I started in LSA and stayed in LSA, my recruiting would have suffered.
At Cornell, the career service is more focused on the high-finance/consulting job which allow you to major in whatever and still have great recruiting. So it gives you more flexibility if you decided you want to switch your major down the line

ahh thank you for the feedback bearcats.

I’ll keep that in mind when I make my college decisions in April.
