First off... can someone list me the classes that need to be completed to be considered for med school?
Also...can someone tell me how hard it would be to attempt to obtain my degree in Pre BizEcon while attempting to satisify the requirements for med school? Would it be considered suicide? Can someone also tell me how many classes I would have to take per quarter in order to do this?

haha i wanna do premed(well predental but same thing)and major in business econ too~!

bump...id like to know the answer to this as well

first, there are no classes that NEED to be completed for med school. however, a solid background in the subjects that will be tested on the MCAT is highly recommended.

most of the "pre-med" majors require the Life Sciences Core Curriculum, which is a series of bio, chem, calc, and physics, before they actually delve into the classes for the specific major. thus, if you're going to do bizecon, you'd probably major in that and then take a buncha bio, chem, and physics as electives. fortunately, calc is a crossover for both so you can save 2 classes haha. unfortunately, there's no bio minor so you're not gonna get anything from taking all those elective classes except big help on your MCAT.

something like this is theoretically do-able. english is a popular "pre-med" major, and i suspect most ppl major in english and take a buncha science classes as electives. however, the bizecon major is more competitive to get in.

i would also ask if you want to go pre-med but you're using bizecon as a backup? cuz when it comes to activities, you're gonna have to choose... business related internships versus medicine related researching, otherwise, it's going to limit your resume for the path that you don't choose unless you find internships that are both business and medicine related (i.e. biotech firms or pharmaceuticals).
