<p>Which courses/professors are reccomended for incoming freshmen in the first quarter for pre-business economics? (other than calc 31a/b)</p>
<p>Did you go to orientation? There was a woman from the Econ department that gave everyone packets and information on what to take when. If you need it, I am sure you can get it emailed to you from someone at the econ department. It outlined all the classes that should be taken, and the woman talking about it told us what classes to take when.</p>
<p>I am an incoming freshman as well, in this Major also, and she said to stay away from Math 31A; it is important information, but the prerequisites are things that students don’t usually forget and can be taken next quarter. She said that its better if you get used to the quarter system pace before you start taking your math classes, which are very important to Business Econ.</p>
<p>If there is anything else that I may know (being an entering freshman, that probably not much) just let me know.</p>
<p>ya, i went to orientation, but I didnt see the bus-econ counselors so i didnt get the packet. 
I tried e-mailing the counselors but they told me that they can’t provide me the packet through e-mail. Is the packet really big, or do you think you can post the important info from it?</p>
