So I recently found out after applying for classes that I was not eligible to take Calculus 1 for my fall semester of my Freshman year due to my math ACT score of a 25. I am freaking out because this will basically ruin the rest of my engineering track. Right now I am signed up for Pre-Calculus, which I took senior year of high school because I did not want to overload my classes senior year. So, any advice? Auburn does not offer a Calculus 2 class during the summer so I could not catch up that way. Should I take Calculus 1 online this semester while taking Pre-Calc? All this set back is really discouraging me from pursuing an engineering degree. Any advice would be helpful!
I would think Calc 2 is offered during the summer. Here’s the syllabus from last summer…

You could also take it at a local CC over the summer, but check with your advisor.
Check with your advisor first on taking a class elsewhere - AU doesn’t accept a lot of classes from other schools - AU has to approve them if the school and class are not already on their list.
Yeah I thought they’d offer Calc 2 in the summer as well - it’s a fairly active place during summer. Months
