Pre-calc?

Can someone please jog my vague memory of pre-calc? What exactly are the topics of pre-calc?

the only ones i remember are definitely consider pre-calc are limits and derivatives. is that it?

No, those are definitely calc...

Precalc covers just about everything else...
-Advanced Algebra
-Trig
-Numbers (sequences, combos, all that fun stuff)
-Excessive amounts of graphing
-Misc. (vectors, complex geometry)

lol. my mind jumps from trig function to calculus. everthing in between is just stuff.

what exactly constitute advanced algebra?

so no limits and derivatives on 2c then?

parametric & polar equations.. identities.. recognizing asymptotes. :/

edit: in response to the post above, there are limits on the barrons tests.. but formally i don't think level 2 is supposed to. i guess there might be simple limits, but probably not derivatives. can someone else verify?

no derivatives...occasionaly a simple limit question I've heard. Advanced Algebra is basically just twisted Alg. 2 concepts...nothing new to learn after Alg. 2, they just like to mess with the problems a bit.

I found my old pre-cal outline from last year

The nature of graphs
Polynomial and Rational Functions
The Trigonometric Functions
Graphs and Inverses of Trigonometric Functions
Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
Sequences and Series
Limits, Derivatives, and Integrals

The only thing I really remember is doing months and months of trig.
