<p>I think it's worth it to try. Forget the long-distance relationship. The relationship can be valuable in and of itself, without having to depend on any future events and goals. Relationships are learning experiences, and it's good to go to college with some experience under your belt. I'm not talking about physical things. I'm thinking stuff that's more character related...emotional maturity...stuff like that, which develops as you get close to someone. I say go for it, it'll make you a better person.</p>

<p>What do you mean it isn't true love? I do know I love her, but I won't bother justifying myself, I'm just fishing for advice. I just don't want it to be a huge big mess and hey I can accept that maybe down the road, I will want to stay with her or not, I'm just trying to see the situation from all sides.</p>
