Has anyone attended or been to the NYU summer art intensive?
Are there any other pre-college programs that are intensive while still allowing for exploration in multiple areas?
I am mostly interested in drawing and painting, but I would love to learn sculpture, fiber arts, design, illustration....not that I expect any pre college program to let you take every class, but I would love to have the option to take some ones I haven't tried before.
I would really appreciate any comments and/or advice!
Thanks!

I attended the Carnegie Mellon Pre-College Art Program this past summer, and it was absolutely amazing. I would definitely suggest at least applying, especially because you said you are primarily interested in painting and drawing. I took both a painting and drawing course, in addition to sculpture, electronic media, arts in the city and collaboration extravaganza, and I loved the classes, faculty, and other students.
I also applied to the NYU Art Intensive also and was accepted, but I decided to go to CMU because it was six weeks as opposed to three weeks at NYU and I wanted more time for portfolio development.

If you have any other questions, I would love to answer them because I want everyone to be able to have that great art experience that I had.
