Does anyone know how the Pre college program works for out of state high school students at Julliard? I know about a 14 year old girl from Arizona who auditioned for and was accepted to the Julliard Pre college Program and studied with Lorraine Nubar. I also know of a 15 year old girl who lives in Oregon, recently auditioned for and was accepted to the Julliard- pre college program as well. How do they do this? Do they move to New York to do this? Does anyone know the details?
My daughter is studying with Lorraine Nubar in the vocal pre college.
The girl from Oregon has flown in every Saturday from Portland. This year she is going to boarding school in NJ.
Most families move closer to NYC for music studies. I know we moved so my daughter could attend LaGuardia HS & Juilliard.
