Hey everyone. So, I'm starting a pre-college summer program at Emory in about a few days. The course that I'm taking is the Infectious Diseases: Causes and Cures. So I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has taken a pre-college course at Emory? Can you please tell me what it's actually like? I'm SUPER nervous and anxious about this whole course because this is my first time away from home, and I'm nervous. What are the people like? I'm nervous about metting new people and making new friends and meeting my roommate. I'm also nervous about getting around campus, and doing things on my own. Are a lot of things mandatory? For example, I saw on the programming schedule that going to the movie theater is mandatory for all students. Now, I know going to the movies are fun, but what if I want to stay in my dorm. Will I also have time to do other summer work other than the pre-college work? Are the students and staff friendly? Is there a lot of typical high school girl drama? Is it hard to get around campus? I'm so very nervous about this whole experience, so if someone could clear a few things up for me, that'd be great! Thank you so much!! :)

Also, can someone also tell me what the typical day was like?

Anyone that’s participated??

You will do fine!
